BENEDICT RADCLIFFE Sculptor Since graduating in 2003 from the Mackintosh School of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art, Benedict has pursued an interest in the commercial fabrication and construction of interiors and furniture as well as art and sculpture. Working with the multi disciplined Scott Associates based in Glasgow’s Maryhill; he has also consulted for many contemporary Scottish artists.
His work looks at a number of themes; his love of machines and engineering, commercial branding and familiar logos or graphics and transferring them to different contexts and materials. Benedict is currently working with Paul Smith on a number of bike related art projects. |
