The Thistle Glasgow is Scotland's largest conference and banqueting hotel situated in the heart of the business, entertainment and shopping centre of the city.
We are half a mile from the M8, 15 minutes from Glasgow Airport and 5 minutes from two main line railway stations. The 300 Executive and Deluxe bedrooms and suites have been refurbished to the highest standards with the facilities one would expect from a leading 4 star hotel.
We have no less than 18 conference suites, our Grand Ballroom (the largest) can accommodate 1500 delegates theatre style and has the ability to sub-divide into three totally independent suites, all of which are air-conditioned, incorporate full audio visual facilities, lighting rigs and have a range of power supplies. The Robert Burns Suite is the most recent addition to the Thistle Glasgow providing a unique conference area unequalled in the city. Located alongside the Grand Ballroom with an area of over 245sqm. The Robert Burns splits into 3 sections and can accommodate over 250 delegates theatre style, alternatively splitting into three syndicate rooms seating 80 people. In addition, Thistle Glasgow boasts 13 purpose built syndicate rooms which can accommodate a range of meetings from one to one interviews to board meetings of 30 and theatre style for 80 persons, all suites have natural daylight and in order to ensure attention to detail a separate business centre has been established. Our range of banqueting suites is extensive with the largest able to accommodate 1000 persons for a formal luncheon or dinner, from simple finger buffet to themed menus featuring our speciality presentation roasts which are piped into the suite and carved in front of your guests.
The hotel's themed restaurant 'Gengis' is a fusion of Asian, Oriental and Mediterranean cuisines specialising in char grilled meats, fish and seafood. Complemented by the Captains Cabin & Co motion coffee lounge.
