All 15 of the Crowne Plaza's conference and banqueting rooms are located in one dedicated wing of the hotel. The Argyll and Castle Suites have three sections each, with the Islands Suite comprising of four sections, each room can be subdivided by fully soundproofed retractable walls. The Argyll affords ground level double access large enough to drive a lorry through, ideal for a car launch or the unloading of a large back projection set. The Argyll Suite can also be extended into the Castle Suite through a retractable wall, as detailed on the floor plans below - the ultimate in flexibility to meet your every need. All meeting rooms offer full blackout facilities (11 have natural daylight) and extensive breakout areas for either exhibitions or those all-important coffee breaks.
In October 1998 a direct walkway linked to the SECC, located adjacent to the hotel, was completed. This provides the prospective conference organiser with a seamless meeting facility encompassing a 3000 and 620 seat auditorium, plus a total of 26 breakout rooms all backed up by acres of exhibition space.
