For 2009 World Pipe Band Champions, Simon Fraser University of Canada, winning the coveted title in August may seem like a distant memory…but it’s time to get practicing again as the most anticipated event on the cultural calendar is back!

We are pleased to announce that the World Pipe Band Championships along with the Drum Major contest, European Highland Games and Children’s Zone, will return to its heartland, Glasgow Green on August 14th 2010 for its 6th consecutive year!
