Tickets can be bought in advance or on the day. There are two types of tickets: General Event and Grade 1 Competition. The General Event ticket allows access to the venue only. A Grade 1 Competition ticket in addition to general event access, reserves a seat in the grandstand which offers a first class view of the Grade 1 Arena for the entire event. As a result of a redesign of the event layout, this now includes a direct view of the final march past at the close of the event.
